Hey,

I came across the photo on flickr of the 81 year old gay activist. I'd like to use this to go with a column in a magazine i work for. The magazine is a local, free entertainment sheet based in Shanghai, China. Our gay columnist has written about older gay lifestyles and I think your photo would be perfect to accompany his column.

Would you grant us permission to use it?

Many thanks,

Nick Taylor

Great!

Here's Bill's tweet about next week's theme -- time to think it through before the 4th Tuesday publication date and put together some interesting persepectives:

@billjohnston What is the current exchange rate of social / financial capital? Just asked the OCRN - plan 2 blog about it for #octribe topic next week

It's a great subject for free-ranging philosophy or hard-nosed investment talk: Social capital: what is it really worth?

An individual may maintain multiple personas online - for privacy, security or just plain forgetfulness. Organizations have an interest in resolving those personas, but when is it safe or advisable to do so and do the individuals have a say in the matter?
